Following extensive remodelling, Nationalmuseum in Stockholm is once again one of Europe’s most modern museums. For the new interior, TAF Studio has designed Chapeau, a Scandinavian café chair offering great comfort and a small size – something that will solve problems in small spaces when people suddenly leave or join your company.
In 2017, Italian/Hungarian industrial designer Andrea Ruggiero was invited to experiment in Offecct Lab in order to find a way of turning waste material into a high performing commercial product. Font by Swedish designer Matti Klenell is a sofa system that has been developed for the new interior of Nationalmuseum, Sweden’s leading museum for art and design. Font is modern furniture for public interiors that will carry a part of the museum’s history with it as it reaches out to the international market.
The digital revolution characterizes much of Offecct's new collection at Salone del Mobile Milano 2018. The furniture shown here also challenges the boundaries between art and interior solutions and includes products that explore the concept of creative upcycling and revived legendary design.

Through an exclusive collaboration between the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation (US) and Offecct (SE), the historic Ennis textile block is now repurposed in the state of the art acoustic panel, Soundwave Ennis. Ennis is one of two products in the Offecct Edition collection launched 2018.

Offecct is participating in a new project that aims to make furniture from oat husks. “Another step closer to combining innovative design and environmental sustainability ” said Offecct Product Developer Joachim Schubert. “By using oat husks, which are a side product in farming and would otherwise be burned, we want to create products that are climate friendly and functional,” said Joachim .
Swedish furniture and design company Offecct makes a new start in Stockholm and moves from the modern Flat Iron Building on Torsgatan to a historical station building at Lilla Bantorget 11. Here a meeting arena is created where Offeccts contemporary design meets 19th century architecture.

Genom att gå samman med den norska koncernen Scandinavian Business Seating AS (SB Seating) kan Offecct satsa än mer offensivt på nya marknader och öka takten i sin produktutveckling. SB Seating förvärvar 100% av aktierna i koncernen OFFECCT AB. Affären blev klar den 5 maj 2017. Grundarna, Kurt Tingdal, CEO och Anders Englund, Designchef, kvarstår i i bolaget på samma befattningar som tidigare.
During Milan Design Week the Swedish furniture and design company Offecct opened its new meeting arena in the center of the Italian city. − Milan is the design capital of the world and it´s natural for us to be established here, says Offecct CEO Kurt Tingdal. More than 100 persons attended the inauguration and experienced the unique installation of Phoenix by the italian designer Luca Nicetto.

Offecct växer vidare. Efter att ha förvärvat grannfastigheten vid anläggningen i Tibro förfogar företaget nu över närmare 20 000 kvadratmeter yta under tak.
